Danielle Marcelle Ward, a New Jersey, USA native resident, is a Life Science and Public Health educator and laboratory researcher on the secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences, concentration in Food Biotechnology and Engineering, from the Tennessee State University (project title “Treatment of Ultra Low UV Transmittance Fluids: Fundamentals and Applications' '). Her Master of Science (MS) in Pharmacology was earned from Howard University focusing on prostate cancer and dietary intervention. Her undergraduate degree in Biological Science was earned from Delaware State University.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Dr.Danielle has been afforded the opportunity to be groomed as an educator as an K-adult tutor, New Jersey Department of Education Certified Biology Teacher, and professorate fellow. She is a  public  health  researcher  and administrator with  6+  years  of    laboratory  and  literature  based oncology and food science research  experience. Life  Sciences  professional  with  9+  years  of  grades  6-12,  undergraduate, and graduate  STEAM  and  Humanities  teaching and teacher-training/mentoring experience. As an Interdisciplinary professional    with 5+  years  of  Title VI diversity and inclusion  support    experience   in  the areas of Higher Education, Healthcare, Budget, Human Resources, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Compliance in collegiate, private, and federal sectors. Dr. Danielle has also functioned as a federal grant reviewer and manager with experience in managing multi-million-dollar federal budget who conducted successful internal audits.

My philosophy is that all students can achieve optimal mastery of curricular material and academic performance when provided with accurate knowledge, adequate learning environment, and clear instruction suited to his/her learning style. Additionally, assisting others in achieving nutritional and wellness goals as well as professional development are passions of Dr. Danielle. She looks forward to serving you in excellence!!
